Taking Stock 53

We have come to the end of the year!! A friend said to me, that if you have not achieved your goals by now, plan for 2024. You’re out of time. But I disagree. There’s time to turn things around.

August was thrilling for me for two reasons: I started my fitness journey and I have been consistent. I sat on a panel with Drs from MUK’s literature department to talk celebrate and discuss,Whispers from Vera!!

Let`s dive into my August update:

Making: time to attend the fitness boot camp daily. Panel session at MUK. Organising the Ngalabi short film festival.

Eating: muesli and yoghurt. Best breakfast combo ever!!

Drinking: water. Fitness and hydration are bedfellows.

Reading:  A Spell of Good Things by Ayobami Adebayo.

Wanting: money and a vacation.

Wasting: no time on pity parties.

Wishing: for a ballistic September filled with money making opportunities, visit a spa and staycation.

Wondering: about my end of year. How will it end? Will I have achieved all my set goals?

Hoping: for a wonderful time at Ngalabi short film festival.

Marvelling: at how God answers our prayers.

Smelling: fresh opportunities.

Wearing: black lately. A solid colour for a solid girl with a solid career. Pun intended.

Following: writers.

Noticing: how human beings are compex. Like what is going on ….

Knowing: all things work together for my good.

Bookmarking: online articles.

Feeling: expectant. Something’s moving. Something’s changing. …..

Song dedication: Away by Ssensamba

May you be refreshed in September.

Cheers to new beginnings.
