Taking Stock 31

Taking Stock 31

September has by far been one of my favourite months this year. I have been witness to the goodness of God. Some of the things I prayed for I walked in them. In short, God overwhelmed me with His goodness and I am excited to see what He does in October.

Here is my September wrap-up;

Making: time to pray, work out, read and sleep. September had me appreciating my routine.

Eating:Β sukuma wiki. I find this vegetable delicious and pretty much goes with anything you throw at it. I went out on a few dates and of course, had all foods I don`t eat in my house.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

This meat fest pizza from Kampala Smokehouse is the real deal. It s so yummy. My sister and I enjoyed it.

Drinking: plenty of water. (Tip: Don`t drink too much of it close to your bedtime. Your sleep will be disrupted.)

Reading: Kas Kazi by Hekaya Arts Initiative and other writers; EarthSinger Chronicles by L.Penelope Book 1 (Song of Blood and Stone) and Book 2 (Whispers of Shadow and Flame).

Wanting: change in Uganda. Honestly, we deserve better in terms of everything.

Wasting: no time doing things that don`t bring me joy.

Wishing: for a better Uganda.

Wondering: about marriage, parenting, tattoos on my arms, nose piercing. Anyone with me on this part right here?

Hoping: to have a fruitful October filled with money-making opportunities, collaborations, and every good thing.

Marvelling: at how much work goes into honing one`s craft. August stretched me on this front but I am grateful to be living purposefully.

Smelling: God`s goodness.

Wearing: my hair in dreads. They are longer now that we are on the fifth mark. I can`t wait to see more length in December.

Following: Jesus. This sounds like a cliche but y`all that is what I was doing in September.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Noticing: how God has made all things beautiful in their time.

Knowing: that God is TRUE.

Bookmarking: excerpts from the books I`m reading.

Feeling: extremely happy. September has been good.

Song dedication: Mighty One by Todd Dulaney ft  Maryanne J. George. This song is off Maverick City`s Juneteenth album. Get the entire album and listen to it this weekend. It is simply amazing.

As you get into October, may you notice the new doors and walk into them.

Happy New month!
