The end of the first quarter is finally here!! Did you feel like March went on for too long? I am already in April and simply waiting for March to close officially.
March has been equal parts soft and hard. I have laboured for my career to the point of drawing blood. How do people remain sane throughout 68/70 years of their careers? I experienced softness through phone call conversations, dates with friends, visits, walks, smiles and hugs from my nephews and more.
Let`s dive into my March update:
Making: time to work. This is what happens when you think you are a work superhero. lol!
Eating: matooke and ground nuts paste. I love that paste with pretty much anything.
Drinking: tea and water.
Reading: Inferno: A Memoir of Motherhood and Madness by Catherine Cho, Odokonyero. A Writivism anthology. Edited by Madhu Krishnan and Bwesigye Bwa Mwesigire, The Rainmakers by Paul Kisakye and The Mermaid of Black Conch by Monique Roffey. This memoir deromanticizes the concept of motherhood.
Still queasy from reading this.😭😭 pic.twitter.com/foQZFBo5g1
Wanting: a vacation. I deserve it after all the hard one I have put into quarter one of 2023. haha!
Wasting: time on social media. Hehehe! I said it. Some days, this gets me through the funk.
Wishing: for ease and abundance.
Wondering: about my life. Will everything make sense in the end?
Hoping: for an April and second quarter full of abundance, love, good health and positive vibes.
Marvelling: at how much work goes into achieving the set goals.
Smelling: Essen products` honey dew shower gel. My spirit is uplifted each time I use it. I love sweet-smelling scents.

Wearing: my hair in dreadlocks and Nouba 46 lipstick. Ladies get yourself that popping stick.
Following: bookstagrammers. This community is thriving. Happy to meet fellow book lovers.
Noticing: that (1). God is faithful (2). People`s lives do not rotate around you. (3). Put in the work. It eventually pays off.
Knowing: that God does not LIE.
Bookmarking: excerpts from the books I`m reading.
Feeling: grateful as one season ends and I enter into another.
Song dedication: Waymaker by Sinach. I have had this song on replay.
May you experience fruitfulness in April.
Happy new month!!
Cheers to new beginnings. ❤❤
