Taking Stock 33

Taking Stock 33

November is literally my month. The pastor does not have to remind me. Neither does Azawi have to do it’s my year song for me because November is my month, always and forever.πŸ˜…

I turned 30!!πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ I always thought when I turned 30 I would feel all grown up. I am not even sure what that means. I still feel the same way I felt when I was 29. But I know there is a newness lurking.

Here is my November wrap-up;

Making: time to pray and work out. Plus running around for my sister`s traditional wedding. I think I am ready to run an events company. I have proof of work.

Eating: whatever is available.

Drinking: plenty of water.

Reading: A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini and Waiting by Goretti Kyomuhendo(book club pick).

Wanting: REST.

Wasting: no time reading books that don`t bring me joy.

Wishing: for a vacation.

Wondering: about weddings and how expensive they are. I respect people who take the bold step of marriage and go all the way.

Hoping: to have a restful December.

Marvelling:Β at how much work goes into planning and executing a wedding.

Smelling: rest. This is my only plan in December.

Wearing:Β my hair in dreads.

Following: Jesus. This sounds like a cliche but y`all that is what I was doing.

Noticing:Β how God means what He says.πŸ˜… Guys, He is dependable. I have experienced it.

Knowing: that God is TRUE.

Bookmarking: audios from the RDM app.

Feeling: happy. My baby sister is a wife now.

Song dedication: God Will Work it Out by Maverick City ft Noami Raine and Israel Houghton. This is one of my favourite songs off Mavericy City Music`s Juneteenth Album.

As you get into December, be reminded that God will work things out for you. That is a fact.

Happy New month!

PS: This was supposed to be published on 6th December but I was too tired to do anything. But it’s here now.

Thank you for subscribing to the blog. If you haven`t yet, please take a few minutes to join the family.

  1. Interesting November wrap-up.
Your thought on turning 30 was the same thing for me when I turned 18 and 21…. nothing much happened hehe!! Not even excitement hit in.

Pinterest however, makes you believe weddings a simple and easy to plan and put up yet it’s the other way round.

You look gorgeous in your dreads :). Hope you will handle them for long. I couldn’t that’s why I hope the best for you on this dreads journey.

Yes please God is true and dependable.

Congratulations to your sister. Must have been emotional.

    1. Thank you. I was so emotional seeing my sister walk down the aisle, sign things, walk out as a Mrs. It was overwhelming. I plan to maintain the dreads with the help of salon appointments and all that.πŸ˜‚

    1. I definitely had a good November. Thank you for the birthday wishes. I am happy to hear that you have been intentional with prayer, studying the word and listening to sermons. This sounds fulfilling.
