Taking Stock 32

Taking Stock 32

O.C.T.O.B.E.R always screams ten while reminding me that Christmas is around the corner.πŸ’ƒπŸΏπŸ’ƒπŸΏ I am happy that this year is about to end. It has been quite a year, rough and smooth. Repeat.

I am excited to turn 30 so yaay to November rushing in. I look forward to celebrating Christmas this year. I plan to buy a Christmas tree and go all out on the decor, food, cake, and wine. I have also been going back in time; listening to music from the 90s and 2000s. It hits different. I love it.

Here is my October wrap-up;

Making: time to pray, work out, read and sleep. I slacked on the workouts, read, and slept more though.😎

Eating: whatever is available.

Drinking: plenty of water.

Reading: Behold The Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue, How Beautiful We were by Imbolo Mbue, The Cry of Metal & Bone by L.Penelope, Kololo Hill by Neema Shah(book club pick).

Wanting: to do the adult thing during Christmas time.πŸ˜‚ And that is to buy a Christmas tree, decorate the house with lights and all, buy a cake and have lots of food and wine.😍

Wasting: no time reading books that don`t bring me joy.

Wishing: for a vacation.

Wondering: about music from the 90s and 2000s.πŸ˜‚ Some of this music my 16-year-old sister doesn`t even know it.πŸ˜…

Hoping: to have a fruitful November filled with money-making opportunities, collaborations, and every good thing.

Marvelling: at how much work goes into honing one`s craft.

Smelling: my birthday season.

Wearing: my hair in dreads. I see an increase in length each time I visit Louis` Salon.

Following: Jesus. This sounds like a cliche but y`all that is what I was doing.

Noticing: how God has made all things beautiful in their time.

Knowing: that God is TRUE.

Bookmarking: excerpts from the books I`m reading.

Feeling: optimistic. October has been a fun month. November on the other hand promises enjoyments I have not experienced since January 2021.

Song dedication: You are so good by Sinach. This song will have you wailing, clapping, singing along as you reminisce on the goodness of God.

As you get into November, be reminded that God`s goodness and mercy pursue you.

Happy New month!
